MCP | Baseball Data API

The MCP server puts the API in front of an assistant as tools. Its address is https://baseballapi.net/mcp. Each tool calls the API with your own key, so your plan and limits apply.

For Claude Code and Cursor, add the server with your key as the X-API-Key header (or Authorization: Bearer). Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http baseballapi https://baseballapi.net/mcp --header "X-API-Key: YOUR_KEY"

Then ask, for example, "What were yesterday's KBO results?" and the assistant calls yesterdays_results or find_games. The tools are listed on MCP tools. Connecting from the Claude.ai and ChatGPT apps, which sign in rather than take a header, comes with the next release.
